Yan Wushi rescues Shen Qiao with the aim of corrupting him and bringing him into his fold, but he soon discovers that Shen Qiao is not as easy as he thought. With completely different ideals and personalities, the two embark on an adventure in a divided territory rife with intrigue, where, against all odds, they become traveling companions.
