The Interval is a novel about desire, the scars of the past, and the burden of caregiving. We accompany the narrator, who cares for Dante, a young quadriplegic whose fragility transforms daily life into an act of resistance. Amid medical rituals, shared complicity, and unexpected reunions, the novel plunges us into a realm where intimacy becomes unbearable: tenderness and violence, companionship and solitude, life and all that can unexpectedly shatter it.
