Numantia. Sangre y fuego

153 BC Rome, now established in much of Hispania after its victory over the Carthaginians, advances relentlessly up the Ebro Valley to consolidate its dominion. To do so, it must confront the various Celtiberian peoples who still maintain their independence. The Celtiberian city of Sekaiza (Segeda)'s breach of a peace treaty signed with the Republic is the pretext for unleashing a war of conquest. Numantia, the capital of the Arevaci, will aid the Segedans and thus become involved in the struggle between the Celtiberians and the Roman legions. Ambrakos, the ambitious leader of Sekaiza, and Marcus Delius, a young Roman doctor enlisted in the legions, will try to survive in a cruel war, where both heroism and ruthless internal power struggles will find their place.
