Revolución

A gunshot pierces the night in the Sintra mountains during a Storm family dinner, and the matriarch senses she has lost one of her three children. The epicenter of the family's collapse has its roots many years earlier, between the end of the dictatorship and the early days of the revolution. Maria Luísa, the eldest daughter and an underground opponent of the regime, is being pursued by the Interpol and the State Defense Police. Federico, the youngest, is obsessed with losing his virginity before being drafted into the colonial war. And Pureza, the middle child, sees her dreams of a perfect, traditional family shattered by the PREC, the ongoing Revolutionary Process that began with the Carnation Revolution of 1974.
