Following an encounter with Sinestro, the United Planets Lanterns confront Hal Jordan for operating illegally in the quarantined zone. After discovering what happened on Korugar, he realizes that a shadowy power has grown and solidified. While he tries to stop those responsible, the United Planets representatives prepare to arrest him. With some mystical assistance, Hal will have to learn something new about the origin of his ring.
