Bocanegra

Interior of Catalonia, 1618. As all of Europe prepares to bleed itself dry in an endless war, Maria Querol, sole heiress of the Querol and Monrodon houses, watches her world of stability and privilege crumble. Independent and courageous, she dares to repudiate the son of the powerful Duke of Cardona, future Viceroy of Catalonia, as her husband.
