Hebras de sílabas

From José Luis Puerto's ongoing poetic journey now emerges Hebras de sílabas (Threads of Syllables), a collection of poems that, according to its author, is "marked by an attention to the small, to nature, to art, to the world, to others, to the mystery of life and death. But also by offering." Through a meticulous, attentive, and constant transfiguration of the verbal—like the textile work of women—in search of the meanings we need to exist; always through a "word that strives to be sober, simple, clean, clear…" and marked by the art of suggestion, to transform poetry into an art of celebration and fraternity.
