Cece is in love. She's arrived early at her future in-laws' house on the shores of Lake Salish, Montana, to finalize her wedding plans with Charlie, a young doctor with a bright future ahead of him. Charlie has asked Garrett, his best friend from college, to officiate the ceremony, though Cece can't imagine anyone less suitable for the task: an airport baggage handler haunted by a past tragedy he shares with Charlie.
